B Impact Clinic Client Application Form

Thank you for your interest in being a part of UNH Sustainability Institute’s B Impact Clinic.

The Sustainability Institute (UNHSI), in partnership with New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility, is pleased to offer the B Impact Clinic program, in which small teams of UNH students from all majors act as consultants for local businesses to analyze how the company’s practices and policies align with the B Corp Performance Standards. Student teams will also provide recommendations for changes to company policies and practices that can be used to prepare for B Corp certification (or recertification) if desired, or simply to improve the company’s social and environmental impact.

Note: that in order to participate in and benefit from the Clinic, you’ll need to:

· have been in operation for at least 12 months before it starts.
· identify a single primary contact (mentor) for the student team, who will meet with them virtually 1 hour every week, at a time that is mutually available for the mentor and all of the students.
· take an initial pass at the B Corp Assessment prior to the program start. For companies that are already certifed as B Coprs prior to 2025, we will ask you to share your current B Impact Assessment.
· participate in three additional events (in person or virtually):

1. the program launch (companies will present their project to students in the Clinic to help determine team formation),

2. the mid-term presentation, and

3. the final project presentations/closing showcase.

Through the generous support of the program’s sponsors, UNHSI is able to fund the administration of the program, networking events and professional development opportunities, and travel for students to participate in program events.

Partner organizations are asked to contribute to the program to fund their peer mentor and business advisor's compensation as well as networking opportunities, if they have a budget to do so.
